How is spring break treating you? Probably not everything you dreamed of but it can’t be sunny EVERY day, right? I mean, we *want* it to be but sometimes it rains. Lucky for us, the sun is coming out just in time for the weekend with the forecast showing NO RAIN Friday – Sunday 🙂

TurtleFest 2019

Loggerhead Marinelife Center | 10AM-6PM | Free | Details

Why you should go: This free family-friendly festival is filled with educational activities with a focus on learning how to seek a zero waste lifestyle and help endangered sea turtles. There is also a vendor area where you can shop in support of local artisans, lots of craft food and beer, dancing, live music, much more.

Happy 1st Birthday, Clover!

Busch Wildlife Sanctuary| 10AM-4:30PM | Free | Details

Why you should go: Clover the bobcat is celebrating her first year of life and everyone is invited to help her party it up. Her story is actually quite touching (she was found almost newborn and originally brought to Animal Control because her rescuers thought she was a house cat!). Because of mobility issues she’ll spend her life at Busch Wildlife Sanctuary as a bobcat ambassador.

Kids’ Club Garden Party

Family Studio

Why you should go:  March is Women’s History Month and the Norton is celebrating with the whole family. Fem Power is the theme all month and each session of Family Studio will focus on the artwork of women artists on view and then inspired participants will head into the studio to make their own creations.

Kids Club: Gnome Craft

Why you should go:  They craft, you shop! Kids 3-5 and 6+ can enjoy making Gnome crafts while you get some Easter shopping done. Sign up in store or online, or just drop in.

Why you should go: It’s the last game of Spring Training so if you haven’t yet enjoyed this baseball treat then take the kids out and buy them some peanuts and crackerjack! Gates open 30 minutes before the game and that’s plenty of time to soak in the atmosphere and load up on snacks before the game.
