Friends of Library event at North Palm Beach Library to benefit children’s programming
Story times are just the beginning of the wonderful offerings North Palm Beach residents can expect from their local library when it comes to events for children. On any given day children can read to dogs or investigate the world around them with microscopes. Teens can gather to gab about anime or share their creative writing with like-minded peers, and babies will love the chance to hang while their moms enjoy coffee during weekly Babies & Brew events.
It Isn’t Free
All that excellent programming requires a lot of hard work and planning by the librarians, and not a small amount of funding. That’s where the Friends of the Library comes to the rescue with their annual book sale. Starting Wednesday, January 30, and running through Sunday, February 3 the sale is a great way for you to support all the great programming the library offers throughout the year. PLUS…books 🙂 Who doesn’t need more books?
Friends of the Library members get an exclusive preview on Tuesday, January 29 from 2-6PM and you can become a member at the preview! Starting at only $10 for an individual, membership really does have it’s privileges 🙂 Hope to see you there.
