Fashionable on The Fourth – With My Kind of Casual

We know that The Fourth of July will look a little different this year due to The Covid-19 Pandemic and social distancing guidelines, so we wanted to find a way to bring the festivities home! We have teamed up with several *AMAZING* local vendors and bloggers to give you some ideas and inspiration to make this Fourth of July Fabulous!

Part III of our Festive on The Fourth Series is Fashion on The Fourth with Ashley Martinez, owner of My Kind of Casual!

Ashley Martinez is a South Florida girl, born and raised, who enjoys sharing her love for all things Fashion, Lifestyle and Travel. Growing up the youngest of three girls, she considers herself lucky to have two built in best friends as well as amazing parents who have always supported her dreams.

​After studying Communications and Event Planning at Florida State University followed by ten years working in the events industry, she decided to leave her comfort zone and start her Instagram page @mykindofcasual. With an impressive 23k followers and a highly successful brand this go-getter also still works in corporate events and feels fortunate to produce events for Student ACES, a non profit founded by her dad and sister that teaches leadership, character and life skills to high school athletes. She truly does it all and looks amazing while doing so (yes, we are a little jealous!)

FOURTH OF JULY  is tomorrow!  Although things may look a little different this year it is still a chance to dress cute and festive for the Holiday! Whether you are pulling a few things together from your closet to create a look or needing to run out and grab a last minute outfit I have you covered.

For my girls that don’t have time to go shopping, accessories can make your look complete. Run to your local Target, Walmart, or even dollar store and snag a red white and blue headband or scarf and throw it in your hair! While your there, grab a bold red lipstick to get in the Holiday spirit! Hair accessories can make an all white look the perfect Fourth get up. Make sure to dig through your closet for some stars, stripes or anything red!

6. Don’t forget your swimsuits! A red or blue one piece or bikini top can totally be used to get a Fourth Vibe!
