Sarah LaPierre

If you’ve been to ArtiGras, Sunfest, Rosemary Square or Modern Juice then you’ve definitely seen her art! Sarah’s heavily textured and vibrantly colorful paintings are inspired by her love of local flora and fauna and spending time outside. Sarah is a second-generation artist and her late father, Joseph LaPierre, remains one of the biggest influences to her work, having passed down his palette knife technique which has become a principle characteristic of her “thick paint” style. Whether you’re looking for an original piece or a high-quality print, Sarah’s paintings are sure to bring good vibes and sunshine to any home. You can check out Sarah’s work in her studio at The Garden Shoppe. You can see more of Sarah’s work on her website or on her Instagram @thickpaint.
